Fused Glass, Art Glass
![]()
Shards Glass Studio predominately uses the most ancient glass forming technique - Fused Glass - into art pieces, but also uses such "newcomers" as glass blowing, kiln casting and bending, and leaded glass to add to the uniqueness of the work.
Shards Glass Studio is a husband and wife team, collaborating in design and combining their strengths in various techniques to create one-of-a-kind fused art glass panels and fused glass art pieces.
We produce original fused glassware, art pieces, and leaded or foiled architectural panels that often include fused glass and kiln cast glass features. We draw inspiration from our West Coast forested, rural surroundings and the nearby ocean. Both settings provide a fascinating palette of rich images and an enchanting and restful environment for visitors.
We use Shards Glass Studio as a forum to develop our glass fusing and kiln casting techniques, enrich our creativity through collaboration, and impart what we have learned to others. Exploring and sharing is a driving force in our lives.
You can visit us online by browsing our Studio and Gallery photos. If you are local or intend to visit the area, please visit us in person. You will find maps on the Studio page.
