MTU Settings
MTU (Maximum Transmission Units) setting is what the computer uses
to determine how much data is sent at one time to and from the remote computer. If a
value is too large, there can be problems receiving all the data correctly.
This affects E-Mail programs most commonly, and is probably why you are
here to change the setting.
Changing this is very simple.
- Open up Trumpet Winsock.
- Under the File menu, select Setup.
- Five lines down and one over, you'll find the MTU setting. It should
be set to 576, as shown below.
Click on 'OK' and once you restart Trumpet the new setting will take
effect.
