I was up island at the screening of the National film Board's
documentary, "From Baghdad to Peace Country". (The film features my art projects). I loved this scene immediately and was excited because I knew I had discovered a painting waiting to happen. Sometimes you see something out of the corner of your eye and then you try to re capture that first fleeting impression that made you stop in the first place. But with this composition.....it was exactly as I had first saw it and no searching for that elusive thing was necessary.
