56k/V.90 Information

Welcome to the CoastNet 56K pages. Here we try to keep you up to date on the happenings of 56k on CoastNet and some places to find more information. As most newer computers and 56k modems are being released with the correct firmware version, we no longer require you to check the version number.

If you have a fairly new modem then you will be able to connect to CoastNet at higher than 28,800 speeds.

For a great reference site on all things dealing with 56k technology, go to www.56k.com.
